Challenge
A fundraiser in collaboration with the Canadian Paralympics committee— Active Quest (formerly S.U.M Series) was created to invite people to make activity a goal for the summer and help some athletes in the process. The client approached Humanfolk to help with the identity and merchandise for the project. The challenge was to create an event that is memorable and could be rebooted year after year to support physical and mental health.
Solution
The goal was to create a context that could be gamified and narrative driven. The idea of the quest was that each person could choose how they were going to raise money and what “active quest” they were going to take on—whether it’s skateboarding, cycling, running, rolling, swimming…the list goes on. With a nod back to the athletic and skate brands of the 90’s the identity acts as a stamp of your commitment to your quest. This project is on-going and we contine to contribute to the future of Active Quest.
